wow, those must be some sticky mofo's. I can't imagine your tranny going bad with it being fairly new and your car is basically stock isn't it? Except for typical ls1 stuff. I know my buddy just got his car back with a 3600stall and 3.73s in an auto and he floors it from a light and doesn't spin at all on bfgoodrich gforce dr's. If that helps at all ...

EDIT: and hmmm, why did you post this in ford tech? Are we the only ones that can spin nittos?

ive got a Yank SS3600 stall and had the trans rebuilt in june.

I think I simply just blew the trans.

4,000RPM+ no tire spin = Blown trans

yep corey something is wrong. stock i could spin nittos, yet alone with my 3600 stall, im glad i never got grady to put my converter in

messed up trans + cold nittos = 12.6

Got an appt on monday morning for the trans. Ill have to get back to the track ASAP to see what WARM nittos can do!
