I will do that down the road if this short block holds up for a while and it had better. Right now I really want to see what a bone stock 5.0 short block (minus cam) will handle. So far I have heard of several going into the 600 range ! :o But I am not going to try to get anywhere near that.

But that's beside the point. The guy with the 550 dyno was running efi, since you're carbed you should see at LEAST 650 right off the bat, right?

The guys car that got me fired up to do this makes 630 at the wheels and 712 TQ and it is has been his daily driver for two years ! :o Same exact year on the shortblock and even cam as my car.
But I am not looking even close to that. I want to enjoy it for a while before I attempt to blow it apart. Nothing would suck more than to spend all this time and $$ getting it together just to blow it up and have to park it for a few months.
