Default 3.90 gears on 5 speed good bad?

My friend is wanting to get 3.90's and he wants to know to pros n cons or experiences? thx

I went with 3.90s. after about 6 months, I wished I had gone with 410s.

Yeah herecomestrouble has 4.10's in his sn95. It rides out nice! So even if he wanted 4.10's he's be fine.

Where is N2OD50 with his "Don't fear the gear," comment? With a Modmotor car I would go with 4:10s. I am not a ford guy but even I know the modular Fords love to rev.
