Hehe. I kinda wish it was an 03 just so I could satisfy my curiosity on how one woud do the intake manifold setup on it. There has to be a way to do it other than some megabucks custom fabbed sheetmetal one.

But I dont think an individual would fork over that kind of cash to fab something up. Im thinking some company/shop will think of something. Should be interesting none the less.

Beat me to the punch. Pick up a complete 99/01 intake for $300-400 and presto.

Then why is everyone going apeshit over having to do some wicked custom intake? I would have assumed that it bolted up, but who knows.

Well considering the 03 has the intercooler built into the lower intake manifold, just by fabbing a sheet metal upper makes it easier instead of spending the money for an intake(if you can find a complete one used) and then the intercooler from a reputable company. So factor in the price of an intercooler and intake...you could have a sheetmetal hat fabbed up for the lower intake. It would also make overall plumbing for the turbo kit easier.
