new to the forum and area
i have recently moved down from NY and figured i would join this site. I live in brooksville and looking for any meets in the area. i got a 1990 mustang hatchback with saleen body kit, cobra IRS, cobra brakes, bilesteins, complete aeromotive fuel system, etc. im also looking for a local mustang shop since i got issues with my car that im running out of ideas with.
There isnt really anything in Brooksville that I know of that I would put my name on the line to recommend.
I know your knew to the area,..but about an hour drive south of you there are several shops that can do anything you need.
All American and Ford Speed are both in St Pete just off 66th and both can take care of your car with the utmost professionalism. Take the Suncoast to 275 south/west toward St Pete. Exit at Ulmerton and it will take you right there.
I live in New Port Richey and they are a good 45 min drive for me and thats where I go when I need something done. Plus they are members here in Ford Tech.

There are shows all over,.. both sanctioned and your typical Florida public offerings. There is a very large car scene in the Tampa area.
One of the larger shows coming up will be at the Tampa fair grounds,.. I believe its in Sept or Oct.
But if you just like hanging out with like minded people,.. all you have to do is ride around. I'm not familiar with whats in Brooksville,.. I have heard there is 1 or 2 up there that are ok. Down here in the Tampa area they are all over. I know of probably 30 different places to go on any given Friday or Sat night depending on mood and type of people you like to hang out with. From wiggers and ricers to old geezers and classics and everything in between. You can even find some ginny wops and gweedo's from time to time. Though not as prevalent as on the Parkway in New York or over in Jersey. My wife is from Queens. She took me on a tour a few years ago and they were still doing their thing at the same spots as they were 20 yrs ago.

the problem i having with my car is that i think my fuel system is flooding out the engine from the way it was routed when i bought the car. the fuel system is sumped tank with a1000 aeromotive pump with pre and post filters, -10 lines to the regulator and from the aeromotive regulator -8 to the rail. the way it is set up is the feed goes side port of the regulator the other side port goes to the fuel rail and the bottem port goes to the return line. another issue i am having is that I had a a9p ecu in a manual car and it would run ok but not idle. I changed the ecu to a a9l and now the car doesnt even start, im thinking it might be a bad ecu but i dont want to buy another 1 and thats not the problem so i am trying to narrow down the problem.
here is a pic of how my regulator is set up. (left line is feed, right line goes to the rails, bottem line is the return line)

if anyone just have a a9l that i can borrow to see if that is my problem, i would greatly appericate that.
thanks
