I hear that..

I learned something about turbo's the last few weeks.. if you look at both those turbo's the AR on the exhaust housing is a .96. Both are T4 flange. But one is way larger physically. so in the past when I heard turbo had an .96 AR.. I assummed they where all the same.. not so..

The smaller one is a Turbonetics 76 BB S trim with 96 Ar. The larger one is a PT88 journal bearing with a .96 AR housing as well. The 88 is a mid frame..

See how it spools????

Ford Mustangs | Mustang GT, Cobra, Saleen & More - Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords Magazine

Got a little more exposure..

2nd hit on the new turbo 6.0 at 117 on a 1.55 60 16 PSI. I couldnt get the boost over 6 PSI on the line due to 2 step issues. Sat will be at BMP putting some more tuneup in her..

Back pressure came down from 55+PSI at 18 PSI boost down to 26 PSI at 16 PSI boost.. had to add 8 percent more fuel.. little by little..

Funny my previous best was a 6.19 on a 1.40 60 foot at 19 PSI boost..
