I use that place as an example to my son of why to stay in school, or that's what he has to look forward to

Negative. The casino actually just let a bunch go IIRC.

Hurst, I agree. It's sickening. Ever watch the show "Undercover Boss"? I love that show.

Tommy, about the McD's in Seffner, well....I'm not so big on her applying at McD's anyway....so I try not to push her in that direction. I try to push her in the direction of more management type positions.

35hr average for K-Mart, Sears, and Best Buy I know for a fact is "full-time" status requiring benefits. (Fiancee' is a Sears manager and I work at Best Buy)

Best retail slot right now is Best Buy, they still start people at 9-10/hr.

That's what I grabbed while I went back to school. Between my part-time job and the money I get from school I make about 15/hr X 40hrs but I put in about 60-70/hrs a week between school and work.

Capitalism isn't perfect, but it's the best system out there, by far.

Anarchy seem pretty appealing at times.

I don't believe any developed country in the world has a capitalist economy.

This country does, though: http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/wor...son.cnn?hpt=C2
