In his particular case, we painted in his garage. So, quite a while. Plastic was draped over everything and then also stretched over the floor.

Hey man, I've got access to a shop and I can store a car now if you're still serious. I know I told you I couldnt have a car sitting at my house for an extended period of time last time we talked. The shop I work at occasionally is alright with me doing paintwork there.
