Default welders

I'm looking at a Hobart 140.

Haven't read a bad review yet.

Anybody else have experience with this model? Or can suggest another 110v model? I don't feel like putting a 220 receptacle in my garage, and with purchasing a 110v welder I can take it to others houses if I need too.. Maybe I should just get a 220 so nobody else can use it

It is of course for automotive, and I will possibly build a trailer with it some day when I get better.

I have stick welded plenty but never messed with mig. Just looking for some ideas to get thrown around.

For light duty, its one of the best. The next one that I would own would be a Miller, but they are double the money, and I cant justify the money for a 110v machine
Just read you might wanna do a trailer? step up to a 220 then, for the duty cycle

No comparison to a Miller for sure....besides the dollar costs.

Garbage.... dont waste your money. I swear the adjustment knobs are just for looks no matter what settings you change nothing seemed to change.

I have a lincoln that I have been very happy with. It has never let me down on any of the projects I have done so far.

Those controls knobs go bad on any of them....I'll take that junk off your hands, free of charge. I need a welder to do my trunk framing

I told you knucklehead, you are welcome to still use mine if you want to. I think I am done with it for a little while. I have to do some welding for Tony, but it will be about a month before that happens, I think.

I really appreciate it. I dont wanna ask for it till I have the time to mess with the car. And if Cody will lemme take his junk, I'll be golden. I have everything to weld in the motorplate, I need to get the square tubing for the trunk and some tubing and angle for some brackets

MM350XL, Welder, "Muscle Mig" Wire Feed, 350 amp

That is the welder I have, I dont think it will hook up in your garage bro...

I had that hobart welder ( 1 similar) as a demo gimmic from a USA tool dealer. Im saying NEW it was garbage, not that it wears out...
