Obomber has not only not lived up to the hype, but has proven to be a flat out liar too. Just like EVERY F-ing other politician who has ever run for any political office has done, he made promises that he either had no plan of keeping, or simply COULDN'T keep.

AGREED!! I bet if you look back to when televised campaign coverage began, NOT one elected President even accomplished 25% of what they promised!! And that isn't Bi-Partisan BS, it holds true for Democrats and Republicans alike!!

McCain wa sthe centrist, but was painted by the state run media as a right wing extremeist, apparently to take the focus off of Obummer, who is basically the ultimate left wing whacko, he's annexed GM, Chrysler, the Banking industry, and is working on healthcare. The money man behind him is a guy name dgoerge Soros, google that name some time and see what he did to the bank of England.

Auto business isnt economy based ? Spoken well by someone who doesnt know. Its completely economy based . I have my own shop , but thats not my job. All the years I did around 80k was from multiple big A/C jobs , multiple big preventive maintanance jobs , like flushes and timing belts. Multiple accesory and custom jobs . When the econmy is bad people dont jump to fix their A/C as long as the car runs ,and they dont care about maintanance at all unless they can afford it. If they cant ,they drive it untill it breaks.people let that oil change go to 10k instead of 3k. The auto business is completely driven by the economy. Mantanance pays way more than repairs and is far easier for the tech doing it. If all your doing are repairs you're not making as much money in the same amount of time

So then what would you say the demand elasticity for automotive repair services is? Since you're speaking as someone who knows that auto business is 'economy based', I'm assumming you'd be able to tell us.

demand elasticity ? People fix their cars when they have to and can afford it , people maintain their cars when they can afford it., but dont have to, if they can afford to maintain their car obviously there economic state is pretty good. Its been economy based the last 15 years that I have been doing it profesionally , why is it not now? What shop do you work at?
