Considering a stang...
Well when someone mentions H/E/I means they wanna mod it and modding a V6 Mustang is
. I would mod and drive a Honda before a V6 Mustang. Only makes sense as far as price and market of aftermarket parts new or used
If someone says "they couldnt handle that powa" shouldnt be driving period.....Your foot controls the power, the power doesnt control you....not matter what your userd to driving. Eveything different has a learning curve. You just have to respect it till you're ready to start leaning on it

younger guys will mod anything they get their hands on. Be it an Accord or V6 Mustang. They will buy what ever is "Ohh shiney" and immediately available in front of their face. Most dont have the patience to wait it out and search for the right ride. Thats why we have guys here who guy automatic Mustangs with out a lick of mechanical aptitude,.. and then want to trade it for a manual instead of tackling the project head on and learning as they go. Most dont have the patience for that anymore.
My wife made the mistake of registering on FloridaTibs.com and they consider spray painting the dash and vent panels,.. or anything else for that matter a mod. When someone asked about intererior work (Which my wife is very good at) she wrote down a detailed 'How to' and someone commented,.. "Fuck reading all that,.. if I want a book I'll go to the store".
Thats a common type of immaturity thats all around us within the younger generations. If we can help guide one and nurture them into a more productive and respectful Mustang owner then we owe it to them to at least try. But some people can not be helped and no matter how hard you try to help or explain to someone the 'why's' and 'How's',.. they still go off and follow the ricer mentality. I can bring up 3 recent examples here on TR,.. but I dont want to get any more shit stirred up on the subject. You know who I'm talking about.
Thats all,..

while the initial price of a v6 mustang may be lower (maybe), the dollar to performance gain of modding them just shoots your whole budget almost immediately.
just be patient and wait for the right car to come along, you will be happier. maybe even buy someone's project for cheap who has run out of money!!

There are several performance magazines based here locally, you should see about maybe doing some articles or write ups

Yeah, some of the crap they do to cars in the modern "show" scene is criminal. The idea of changing something just because its stock is kinda dumb. Ive seen clean, well done cars get passed over for ones that look like giant fishing lures simply because they had more "mods".
