The most challenging part is knowing what to do with them. You could have a million dollars in tools.....and your car would still overheat

yea , I got raped on my northstar socket , but I bought mine almost 10 years ago. they're real cheap now. You also pay for the truck to come to you too. I dont care what anyone says , Snap On makes the absolute best tools there are . Some things you can use cheap stuff , but I wouldnt do certain jobs without certain snap on tools. After you round off a couple of those older Honda p/s pump bolts , that are betwwen the block and the pulley , and you can only use an open end wrench, you'll buy a flank drive snap on wrench and get it every time the first time.

Touche!

Switch it to carb. That only costs about $350 if you get a decent carb.

I think snap on is sorta overrated. i wanted to get a wrench set in 6 pt ont he box end. It was somewhere around $450 for the set. An SK set in the same version was about $200 cheaper. I only have 2 snap on tools in my box, and they are 2 that I found on the ground at the track. Id rather that $40 awesome craftsman ratchet that I can go anytime and just switch out than going to snap on and have them try to sell me a new head kit

Agreed on thier tools, but thier boxes are nice. I bought a nice box off the Snap-on truck and he lets me make monthly payments on it

I HAVE done a northstar water pump. That tool is effed up, hard to use and doesn't always work right. Destroyed a brand new pump with one of those stupid things.

to each their own . i got a full box of snap on tools , but I do it every day. For light duty you dont need snap on. All my air tools are snap on,and thats because after every other brand broke I get a snap on. My two rules in the shop are if it brakes buy snap on ( if it's not ) and if you borrow it twice buy one.
