It's the fact that if I go to battle, I will waste more time, energy and money, and due to the financial loss already, I decided to take what I could get. It's a really shitty situation, even shittier because I got three shops involved desperately seeking help with this damn car. I should have just rebuilt the stock motor, very costly mistake I have made.

I can understand where you're coming from. A rebuild on that stock motor would work great. I've seen 5.0's run past 250k that are driven daily. Good luck with everything!

Wait....You're "ok" with this arrangement? Dude, they messed up...caused you to spend MORE money, and now basicly you're ending up where you started except nothing is hooked up? PLUS they're charging you for it? Thats a raw deal man. I mean, if they're keeping almost $700, you should be keeping the motor they "installed". They basicly simply tore your car apart, and you paid them to do it. Hell, even I could have done that. I mean, if you're into paying $700 for what they did, I'll remove your seats and only charge you $150. I'll even leave the old seats in there.

You should be getting a FULL refund back. It's not a case of them doing the work and you weren't "happy" with it, they lied to you about the work they did. They falsly represented themselves AND the motor they put in your rig. They sold you an "HO motor", yet you got something that was clearly NOT an HO motor. They also botched the job and couldn't get it running right. They are supposed to be the "experts", not you. You should get a full refund. And I'm sure that any judge would see it that way also.

*EDIT* Also, you would be entitled to a"loss of use" of said vehicle while it was in their repair shop and also while it was in another repair shop.

Unfortunately, my old motor is a better motor than the one they gave me, that is why I want it back and will let them take this shitty one right back out. I can rebuild my old motor, because it is already pretty solid and was a daily driver.

There's almost always someone on here selling a used or rebuilt shortblock. Did you check on here first before this mess started?

Fuck that shit. Grab you're fucking balls and take their engine, the 700+, and you're engine. Sell their engine, go buy a GT40p engine with a warranty and toss, Dave, Shaun/John, or Joe some scratch to install it the right way. Dont let them fuck you anymore than they already have brother.

You should'nt have to rebuild you're fucking engine!!!
