I'm sorry the guy with the Lambo got his feelings hurt, because he thought he had a nice "bought" car..I'm sure he even spent more on rims and exhaust then all of my projects combined...Let's make this ROTM about cars that have had alot of work done by the owners of said vehicles..Not people who haven't a clue about which end of the wrench is boxed or open..I want to hear about people who have sweat, blood, and tears in there rides, like Shaun has...and most of my fellow ford peeps......................

and I 100% agree. ROTM is about something that took a lot of work to accomplish, that is perhaps unique or customised.. not just about some car you paid a bunch of money for.
like i said, we are still ironing the kinks out.. i think i want to open the nominations up a bit.. and i will choose 10 cars i think are interesting and are nominated with the spirit of ROTM, and then let a group of people i think know some shit pick a winner.

worse than a bunch of people signing up JUST to swing the vote?
My other options are to limit voting only to people who have been members for a certain amount of time and who have a certain number of posts... or to just choose a winner myself.
I kind of think 10 nominated cars, and 10 people on a panel to vote on them is workable.
if it doesnt work, i'll try something else.. but right now it's being gamed and rigged and that's not cool. It's about nice clean fast cool cars, the biggest issue is so many people have an appreciation for their own type of car and nothing else.
still workin on it, still open to ideas.. but give me a little more than "that will make it worse".. throw me an idea or something.

P.S Tell SCNAT to give me back my signature. I re-read the rules and regulations, and no-where in them, does it say i cant have the link to my own personal PHOTOGRAPHY site. He's out of line as a Moderator. There was no need for that, I understand the infraction i got for "Telling ppl to join my site" but taking away my signature is bullshit.

If you take the voting away the contest will be rigged. I like the idea of adding a post count and having members who have been here a year vote. It would keep a lot of kiddies out. A happy medium would be a 6 month membership minimum and only one valid vote per acount and ip address.
