Doesn't matter what "group" he's a part of....Its how he represent his site. Kinda like me calling someone that comes to my place of business a asshole because they got a DUI or whatever the case maybe. Wouldnt go over very well.

After agreeing with you about the stuff you sent me in PM, why would I just up and ban your IP for no reason? You got whacked either A) because you were using a proxy I whacked to stop trolls, or B) because someone was using that IP to create troll names.

I deal with a shit ton of email and PM's every day, the ones I hate dealing with, and usually just ignore or delete are the ones that start off with shit like "this site is lame" or shit like that. Try being fucking civil and polite. I deal with dozens of people in email and IM and PM's every day, 95% of those people are polite, asking a question, complaining about something, needing something done and they manage to do it without being a fucking 2 yr old.

Like I said in the email, tell me what the IP was and I will see what was done to it, and why it was done... but we don't ban IP's unless it's a proxy or being used a lot by trolls. Both of those you can fix.

as for the guys above about being professional.. you deal with the bullshit on here day in day out .. some of the shit I get in PM's and through email is out of this world... everyone seems to think it's their god given right to be an asshole on TR.

It's not about stats, it's not about numbers.. i'd be very ok if the numbers/stats dropped as long as people's attitudes didnt drop with it. Slightest problem or something not going someone's way and they throw the forum equivalent of my 2yo's temper tantrum.

Anyhow, i finally got the go ahead from the big boss last night to make the changes I want to make to both TR and TF to get them upgraded in many ways, my hands have been tied for so long, now we get to get some shit done.

 

Give the Aussie some time to fix it.
