Shinyside, I'm not sure a 351 ever came with a bracket like I need stock. Ford Racing sells this.

deck height owns ^^^^ Cut that thing back to 8.7 height and the bracket will work .... oh nevermind deck heighth doesnt matter

Distance from crank center to cam center is the same. Thats why the timing chain and cover is typical. Distace from cam up is were the distance differs. The block gets taller and wider. I think I explained it right

Yep, pretty much. Just uses longer pushrods for obvious reasons. The head bolts are slightly bigger as well if Im not mistaken.
