Default How much

I have a 97 mustang gt that I getting ready to sell. I want to buy a Lightning so it needs to go. I just would like a rough idea of how much I should ask for it. The body has about 130000 miles on it. I will have pictures up shortly but heres what it has:

>03 GT engine w/ about 45000 miles
>rebuilt t-45...about 20000 miles on it...replaced the clutch when the tranny was done with a dual friction clutch
> Diff rebuilt 500 miles ago with 410's
>New brakes all the way around
>New BBK 255lph fuel pump
>BBK LT's
>BBK H pipe
>SLP LM1 catback
>9" cobra r's up front and 10.5" in the rears
>New tires up front and brand new 315 nitto 555r's on the rear
>New water pump, starter, radiator, and alternator when engine was replaced.
>FMS C springs
>Roush LCA's in the rear
>75mm throttle body
>Black Leather interior...7 out of 10...driver seat is a little torn

I know there is more but I cant think of it. The bad is the car is only going to have primer on it and the passenger side power door lock doesnt work.

I know its hard to tell with out pictures(which I should have up in about 2 days), but I would just like a ROUGH idea how much I should ask for it.Thanks, John

$3500 - $4500 depending on how badly someone likes it.
If there are any flaws in the interior,.. or the interior is multi-colored like tan/black dont expect much more then $3000 - $3500.

Like Tommy said, the primer kills it. Because the primer denotes the paint quality capabilities IIRC.

If your interior is clean and the body is straight,.. a simple $400 - $500 paint job can net you up to $1500 - $2500 more in selling price. It makes all the difference.

A good clean 94 - 98 car with good clean paint can bring as much as $7500 with nice wheels. $4500 - $5500 for a 'quick' sale. It only needs to look good from 10 feet. The average buyer will not notice the flaws that you as the owner knows unless you point them out to him/her.

Good luck.

Maaco can do it cheap....as can Econo paint. Neither does really good work...hell, most don't even do up to "poor" work. They do Muy MAL work....but ya know....It'll do the job to sell it and increase the sale price.

It really depends on which one you go to. Ive seen some excellent paint jobs (not show quality) but nice jobs come out if the car is prepped, disassembled, and ready to be shot when taken there. And thier warranty is great for the price of the jobs they do

Something like this may be good to look into if your looking for a quick sale and dont want to pay a lot to make it look half ass. Maybe better than that but still cheap and better than primer.
