Correct. Their is two 747's that can be designated Air Force One. Which is only when the president is aboard. They can also be called Air Force Two if the vice president is aboard.

I don't know about that but I can tell you this, those pilots did not act on their own. They had orders to fly through there from the higher ups in command. They (who ever was in charge) did not ask permission or notify the state of New York for a reason. A photo op? Give me a break! Lets see these photos or is that classified too?

Maybe Capt. Sullenberger has been pressed into service as the pilot for Air Force One since he can always get good press. And maybe he was just checking to see if it would fit into the Hudson River...if necessary.

Well yeah of course the pilots where told to do it. Don't think they are willing to lose their job over such a mission. Everyone new about this except for the general public(and supposedly Obama, you could agure that he may have been just back pedaling thinking ("Fuck we have to play dumb on this one, everyone is PISSED") from what i've read. NYPD even knew.
But yeah, i would like to see the photos.
Maybe is was just a test of the "OMFG here comes plane" emergancey system...lol
