If you guys like stick cars so much for drag racing why dont you check out the NHRA stock and super stock classes .... This is my buddy vitos Nova. 355in sbc , chevy heads , quadrajet carb ... 4 speed car

Kailuaz .......they're in Ohio, kind of a long tow

Did NHRA pro stock (heyboy/ wrench/ pit kid )back in the day back before Lencos ruined the sport. I love the class cars it's just too much $$

Stock is not prostock and building somthing like an h stock is about 40 grand cheaper then drag radial or outlaw 10.5

Well, yeah, your right about that part, the "outlaw" stuff sure went down the crapper fast. It is probably cheaper to run a class car than some of that other stuff these days.
We had a great class abck in the early 70s when pro stock were more stock than pro. 4 link, Chrysler new process 4spd, big block on a weight break and only a stock profile glass nose allowed. they ran the "big dog" vs "little dog" at the 3 drag strips in this area (bb vs sb) at the end of the day the LD took on the BD on a break and the winner won a grand, it used to pack them in pretty good. If you had 10K in the car you were rich guy!
