Glad to see someone get some use out of the car. It desperately needs the suspension to be dialed in. Jim the coil-overs were ust installed and nothing was ever set.

I'm definitely going to need more then 57's in the rear on this motor. With the 66 up front and 73 in the rear I'm a little on the rich side,.. but not to the point where its sending out black smoke out the back. Exhaust is clean,. but the plugs come back just slightly on the rich side. I would rather be a little rich then run lean. With 57's I'm afraid that would be too lean.

Let me know when your back in the area and we can work something out.

Yeah got a couple of vids. Not very good.

I need to work on my launch better and going to put a different shifter in the car. I'm having problems with the 3 - 4 shift. Keeps wanting to come down into 2nd. The 3 - 4 gate isnt very clean when trying to row the gears fast. I just cant get the car to launch very well. I think its more me getting a feel for the car. I'm still unfamiliar with it. Second time at the track with the car.

Plus with my helmet on,.. the fox has less headroom then my SN95 did,.. so I am kinda slouched in the seat. I have some LX seats I'm going to see if they sit any lower then these leather GT seats. If that doesnt work,.. I'm going to move to a racing seat and see if I can get it to sit a little lower. I'm 6'1 and have a big block head,.. so with the helmet on,.. its not very comfortable in there. LoL. I have to reclline the seat back in order to not hit my head on the roof.

My first launch I tried to come out at 5000 and dumped the clutch,.. the result was I ended up roasting the tires. Worst launch of both nights,.. I just sat there spinning the tires. Second launch I bogged a little. Still cant get any better then a 2.0 60'.

I did how ever have my best 1/8 mile time so far. Ran a 8.24@88 mph.

Couple of vids.

This was my first and worst launch of the night,.. completely roasted the tires. Just sat there and spun. I was like,.. doh,.. wont do that again. Still trying to find the sweet spot to launch at.

Lady Hurst nick named this little Suzuki Samuri the Cricket,.. because the way he launched was like a cricket.

All in all I had a lot of fun. I saw some guys from need2speed there also. Was some pretty bad ass cars out that night. Much better then the cars out at 1320.

27x10 ET Streets

With the 4.10 they give an effective 3.90 gear ratio.

Soon as these are roasted,.. I'm going to try some 26x10 and see if that helps me come out of the hole a little better.

Heh,. I've been hearing a lot of stories about this car and its previous owner from alot of people. I'm almost afraid to know anymore.

He told me he was cutting 1.6 - 1.7 60' times. I've personally discovered that was BS.

He told me before I got the car that the rear was dialed in and the pinion angle was set and that he knew how to do it all with out adjustable uppers or lowers. Then now in a post here in this thread he admits to just bolting it all together. (Sigh).

He told me he had run a 7.89 with the previous EFI combo. I had my doubts at the time.

Thanks for the compliments.
I'm slowly trying to get it all working. Still have a long way to go.
My goal is to try for some 11 sec 1/4 et's and maybe 7's in the 1/8 on motor. Thats what I am aiming for. I think its doable. Then once thats all dialed in I will work on getting a nitrous kit set up and try for some 10 second 1/4 ETs.
