I forgeot, I did own an 83 Z28 with 300K plus on it. It was totally dogged out though. It didn't have any rust and I went through and rebuilt it. If it didn't have those freakin' T-tops, I'd probably still be driving it. I can actually say that I turned EVERY nut, bolt, fastner and clip on that car. I even painted it in my garage.

this has been all over the corral. I think it's b.s. though, the guy can't describe his "technology" nor will he open his hood... guess we'll find out, will be nice IF it's true.

but I call Shenanigans

Well if he DID do it, then I dont blame him for not describing it or showing anyone it. He's looking at a big pay out, and it would suck if someone beat him to it because he went around showing his car off.

A guy named Smokey Yunick did this back in the 70s but he had to rely on mechanical devices since it was pre digital age.

Except that econoline van that has 1,000,000 miles on it. That thing is ridiculous.

My last 96 2v GT 4.6 had 210k on the odometer before I sold it. Have an 87 T-top GT with 267k on the odometer and still going strong. Also have a 93 GT now,.. both cars were made in Louisville Ky. Not Mex or Can.

On average of 20+ year old cars on the road,.. more then 90% are V8 powered. Not 4 cylinder. Where are all the 1980 - 1990 Honda's? There are more 1980 - 1990 Mustangs on the road today then all of the 1980 - 1990 Honda models combined.

Honda's for the most part are commuter shit boxes to go from point A to point B as cheaply as possible. Thats all they were designed to do. A few movies come out and suddenly every kid with a 5 spd Civic thinks he has a race car. LoL

Thats because it was only about 20 years ago 4-cylinder imports actually became a widespread thing. So yes, obviously most cars older than 20 years are going to be V8s. Talk to me in another 20 years and we'll see whats on the road.

Your kidding me right?
You obviously know nothing about Mustangs other then sitting in 'your boy'z'' 6 cylinder with the wanna be Evo ground effects kit rollin on twenny foes,.. yo?

I just traded a 12 year old GT that had more then 210k on the body and still has the original interior in it. Other then the leather seats,.. the rest is all plastic. All there and in great condition. No squeaks and rattles like most 12+ year old Nissans.

Take any SN95 GT or Cobra out there today. Compare it to your precious 300z. The buttons on the stereo's either dont work or have fallen out a long time ago. The headliners (if not held up with thumb tacks) are blowing like curtains. The arm rest screws are coming out of the door panels. The rest of the console and anything else that had a snap together fit is usually broken. Spent 2 years and looked at more then 40 300z cars. I could go on about what I saw. And you have the nerve to open your yap in here?

Your trolling in the wrong section. Go back to the ricer section with the rest of your kiddie friends.

Another 20 years?
Why not now?
Honda's have been selling very well here in the US for almost over 30 years now. You think another 20 years and things will be different?

Your mis-informed and dont know your cars then. Just like thinking all Mustangs are made in Can or Mex. Honda CVCC has been out since the 70's. The Civic was a derivative of that model which later grew into an Accord. They were selling quite well by 1983.

We dont even have to go 20 years,.. lets just go back 10 - 15 years. There are still more V8 models with 200k plus on the odometer then there are 4 cylinder cars. They dont last. The majority of people who buy a Honda will rarely do more then put gas in it. There are still more SN95 Mustangs 94 - 98 then there are 1990 - 1999 Honda's. And Honda was selling quite well by 1990.

Here is a little story I'd like to share.
My brother is handicapped and is in a wheel chair. He drives a 1990 Ford E150 conversion van that has a 302 V8 and has 452,000 miles on it. At 290k the front calipers finally started acting up. I go into Discount Auto. I ask for Calipers for a 1990 Ford Econoline van. Kid behind the counter says to me,.. "Oh yeah,.. thats a common problem with those Ford vans". I said really? And asked what he drove. Outside the window he points to a green accord thats been lowered,.. has gold trim pieces around every door jam and trunk on the poor car with matching tint on the window. I think to myself,.. he's gay. I ask him what year it is. Its a 2001 (This was back in 2003). He gets me the box with the Calipers and tells me I need to provide a core. I throw up the bad Calipers and tell him,.. these have 290,000 miles on them,.. let me know how your Honda does if it even makes it to 290,000. I think to myself,.. what a moron. Common problem,.. LoL
