OK, this is some bullshit, has anyone seen.....
the video of the marine throwing the puppy over a cliff in Iraq or Afghanistan? I'm sorry to all those who served as I dont know what a person goes through in that shit but someone who is so fucking calious and cowardly and trying to get a laugh from his freinds for throwing an innocent little puppy is a cock sucking prick faggot. His name is said in the video, and I hope he gets shit for it. I dont care that he is serving our fucking country, and you know what.......fuck it, I hope he gets his too, this might be the end of my existence in this forum for making this to light, because no one can ever say anything bad about our military. Im not saying anything bad about the military or my country as I love my country, but this one asshole has to go and fuck shit up. Look for the video to start making its way on national TV. I'd post a link to it, but it is too damn disturbing. Maybe someone else will, but i know some people will just laugh about it and say so what.
Fuck you too.
Getting off my soapbox and putting my flame retardent suit on.

My biggest thing is that with the problems that these guys have when returning from combat. What the media has barely made public is that since the start of the war, over 2000 service men and women have come home and lost it by commiting suicide, murder/suicide or some other haneous act of violence. My logic is the guy that threw the puppy didnt even think twice about it, and was smiling in enjoyment after it was done.
Without actually seeing the video, it is hard to make a detirmination as to why he would do such a thing. I'm not trying to justify his actions, because it sounds like he was CLEARLY in the wrong and should be left outside for a while during an attack.
HOWEVER......I would need to see the whole video in order to make a decision. It is often easy to make a knee jerk reaction and condemn the guy to hell, but not know the specifics, and then later find out that the puppy had a gunshot wound and would not have survived anyway or some other thing. Get the video, and let us see it in it's entirety. then we can make a decision on it.
If the militayr member is doing something wrong, then he should be punished to the fullest extent of the UCMJ (Unifor Code of Military Justice).

It's pretty clear in the video that the guy is just a effin asshole.
Besides, Marines are armed, right? If the pup was injured and needed to be euth'd, a gunshot to the base of the skull (or anywhere to the head of a tiny puppy) would have been instant and painless death. So even that scenario would not jive.

that guy is disturbed.
I will say anyone who has spent time in uniform does get a little hardened to violence but personally I have a soft spot for animals, they don't understand and don't deserve it. a lot of people do. like that marine.

Not to mention that we have complete and total control over what happens to animals, and that's a huge responsibility that should not be taken lightly. This is especially true of domesticated animals...we took them from the wild and made them our pets. They didn't choose that - we did. Whether you're "into" pets or not, you're a human, and humans are responsible for what we've done. I'm not saying everybody should volunteer at shelters, etc., but just fucking BE KIND!!!!!!!!

I don't hate the guy for doing it. They are placed in hell. Surrounded by death and chaos. It is too easy for them to lose grasp on reality and what is right. Its his chain of commands fault for the lack of discipline. Over in Kosovo I got to deal with the backlash of a poor chain of command. Think killing a puppy was bad....... try replacing the company of soldiers that did this kind of stuff:
CNN - 'Not him,' says brother of U.S. soldier charged with killing Kosovo girl - January 17, 2000
