Yeah, I read where he still supports the NAFTA allowing business with Qatar. And about him deferring enlistment. Those were iffy topics for me.

But the gay rights thing doesn't bother me. He's not PRO gay marriage (which does bother me a little more), he's just in agreeance that the states should recognize demostic partnering and that if one partner dies it's okay to leave the other partner his/her benefits; also allowing them to insure together, etc. I think that's a positive thing, personally. I've got a gay uncle, and I'm cool w/them being taken care of benefits wise - just not cool w/them being married legally.

And Abortion (to me) isn't a deal breaker any way you shake it. If they're supporters or opposers. I don't really mind either way, because, well lets face it - I'm not a woman and don't really plan on having an abortion anytime soon. Also, if I get my girl pregnant - we're already prepared to do what God has set forth in our plans. So it's not a problem that directly affects me per se. Overall, I feel it should be up to the mother - but I don't see a problem with the Govt. trying to encourage or increase Adoption Rate vs. Abortion Rate - simply because they're is more of a benefit to them being Adopted than killed before getting a chance at this crazy thing we call life....

I got Hunter and then Mccain too (romney's a 3rd) which is funny, I know so little about all three!
Usually I'm into politics, but I have no clear choice this year........maybe I'll go by the candidate calculator!!
