Who remembers the old Krass & Bernie?

This months issue has Krass blowing up his motor in his mustang. Then he proceeds to sell off shit he has so he can save up money to buy a crate motor.... Are you kidding me??

The thing i liked best about Car craft was it was more for a DIYer. ahhh fuck it don't try it yourself just order one though the mail...

I guess things change.

 

Long before Krass & Bernie there was a comic book called CarToons...I used to pick it up when we went grocery shopping...

The same artist drew for that magazine.... George Trosely is his name...positive on the Trosely part...might not be George though.

I loved it as a kid... then as I got older I found his art in Hustler magazine as well....it wasn't car related there though...

Yeah, back in the day it was all about Swap Meet powah!! Or some other DIY stuff...times are changing...

 

Man I miss being able to get that book... sucks it's gone...

wasnt krass/bernie in car toons loved that mag and there baddass shifters

 

Yeah, they were...but the book was called Car Toons... in Hot Rod magazine it's just called Krass and Bernie and it's not much longer than 2 whole pages.

I wish I saved some of the old Car Toons I had... those along with my Dad being a bracket racer at a young age are definitely a reason I'm into fast V8 RWD cars.
