Questionable buyer?

In his case he was the buyer, but like I said the emails looked just like that. We reasearched it a bunch after the fact and found out they do it buying and selling. Most of the time it is a fake number and they are really in nigeria. The one thing that really stuck out is the way he said he would send you some extra money. What happens is they track the check or they send a fake money order. When they track the check they get all of your personal info and your bank account and then they clean out you account before you ever knew what happened. So if he does in fact send you a check DO NOT PUT IT IN YOUR ACCOUNT!!! Everything in it will be gone. Like I said my .02 from someone who tried to help his friend get his money back with no luck. Better just deal with someone in the good ol' U.S. of A.

It's a scam, if you look at craigslist under the fraud thing they have. You will see a few just like that. When I was selling a car on there, I would get like four or five of those a day.

the problem is there is not much our government can do; most of these come from corrupt countries like russia, countries in africa, the middle east, places where we can't get them and the cops don't care or can't do anything....
