Well i THOUGHT i could drive....
Well i THOUGHT i could drive....
I hate it cause i always thought that i was an above average driver , then i go to the track a few times and the best i can get out of my car is a 14.2 I know my car is stock and i shouldnt expect much better but there's no reason why i shouldn't have got a 13.9....when i ran the 14.2 i had a 60ft time of 2.2 which SUCKS!! And i know dr's would help but there are plenty of people pulling 2.0 60 ft's on stock tires....i tried everything..lower tire pressure...easing it more off the line...but i just couldnt get any better....(sigh)

let someone else drive your car. If they can drive better than you, then its you, if they dont, then its the car. I had a lot of so-called proclaimed awesome drivers drive my car. The only one that could come close was an instructer at an auto-x event.

I also think it has alot to do with the time of year this is!!
+1 on having some others drive just to see if its your car.
I have had a few mustangs (fox) that stock run anywhere from 13.5 to 14.6 with anywhere from 1.8 to 2.2 60' on radails. every car is different and 14.2 with a 2.2 60' isn't too bad. its the 60' that needs the work. Just keep working it and you and the car will improve.
