yeah 24p is the way to go IMO if you want a good look.. it just has that crisp movie filmish look compared to 30 and 60 frame rates .... your camera doesint shoot 24p right pat??? you have to like convert it to 24p?? rocks camera actually shoots in 24p it looks really really good for like a 600 dollar cannon

No it doesn't but i like the way it shoots, i like the quality. Rocks camera is a Harddrive. The quality isn't all that great. I saw a few clips from it. It looks better then some of the Harddrive cameras ive seen haha. I hope to get a dvx100a or b soon. Hopefully by the end of the year. I would love to shoot HD but that would call for new video card new editing system and all kinds of stuff haha.

yeah HDD is convenant in some ways but when you upload the footy to conputer it makes it look like shit... but for shooting in 24p it looks good... Ive been told shotting in HD is all fine and well but when you start doing somethings the lighting becomes a bitch... esp low low light shooting... you need to make sure everythign is perfect or skintones and shit are going to be sooo fake looking... i think upconverting for now is your best route... when you shoot in hd and edit... it costs money.. esp the computer my friends computer he paid like 5000 for it its a mac... and its barely enought to edit his hd shit... he siad his program will close out sometimes and freeze up and shit just becuase the amout of memory and storage HD footage uses..

Exactly thats why i think im going to stick to 3ccd haha. Im going to start saving up for a Dvx100a or b. Either one is great haha. Im still learning about everything esp editing and upconverting. Filming im okay i just need to work on different shots and being creative haha. Hopefully my dolly will make things look way better when i film the desoto montage. The sebring video is done. Theres two of them slightly different from eachother. Uploading both to see which one people thinks is the best. They are all that good, I rushed when i should have taken my time. Im keeping all my footage for future videos and such possibly for FDVM.
