SO FRICKING PISSED my camera took a shit at desoto yesterday and erased all my vids from the past 2 months now i need to start over....

Oh no HardDrive camera = Nightmares. Video quality is horrible dude. The clips get so compressed. Stick to mini dv. Harddrive sounds good because no tapes and easier to upload but it makes videos of good drifting really bad. You can find decent 3 chip cameras at bestbuy even walmart carries some decent brands. Anything 3ccd you will have good quality and warm colors.

If you decide to get something used you wanna make sure the heads on the camera are still good. or the ribbon cable is still there haha. When you buy something used you have a life span as well cause you dont really know how the last person used it and if it was dropped and what not. I would buy something new because you get a warranty and you know that everything will be good. Yeah i got a hard drive camera for my first i was stoked until i saw the clips on the computer. If you ever wanna get together at some of these events im down to help you out with any tips that i can. Im new to filming drifting and have been watching tons of videos of it for a while, i learn alot from joshuaherron.com he makes alot of videos for FD and stuff check it out, Its all in HD.

Are you gonna be filming just street sliding or track as well? Where do you plan on uploading this video too and what do you use for editing? Vimeo would be good but it costs money and i have tons of programs if you need help with a editing system.
