Default Desoto Drift Practice course layout thread

Who wants a course laid out for the next thread, and how do you want it setup? I figure this one we can get things all ready to go before hand and save time.

do I need to bring cones and/or paint for marking? I have both.

Bank would be okay - some can do or and others can just avoid it if needed.

how about this.... i think it is able to be comboed for the most part (if not all of it) by a non-turbo car. the only struggle would be making the first sweeper wide line to make the straight away transition.

if you can make a course that has a consistent starting point, with an optional bank, post it up. I haven't been able to yet. without having a 'cruise or drift' section on the bank.

I defer all course layouts decisions to you box. Looks like a fun course. So, do we need cones or what?!

And what time will you be getting out?

late as usual. plan for open practice till 730? course setup/practice for 30 min? mini comp- then back to open practice?

I dont wanna eat up a lot of time with this, just enough to give people some sort of judged driving i guess...

I'm open to other ideas. I am not the god of course design nor judging lmao.

i'm not sure the wide line out of the 1st turn is doo able. let me see if i can come up with something. if it can be done in the miata. it can be done by all.

well in my car ive gotten from one sweeper to the next (ebrake extension) without a transition. so its totally possible to do it with one. without turbo it might be hard yes.

im trying to mix in something hard for the better guys and still easy for the newer guys.

lets see what bill cums up with!

we need something that can be fun for the advanced as well as a beginer. i know we had one similar to this, but i think transitions and some e brake are what needs to be worked on, anyone can hold a one corner drift. i don't think the open layout helps any one learn anything. and you don't have to wait for someone to see the flagger to stop. and i know i suck at ms paint. advanced start on the bank, novice waits until the 1st turn after the bank.
