13bt as in the motor? 2nd gen rx-7?

 

why would you want a Rotary? those thing are good for one thing, a boat anchor

 

i have a buddy that is in the process of doing this conversion, he bought a gsx that had been rolled, everything for the most part is bolt off bolt on, a little fab work to make the tunnel right for the drive shaft, and i think he is going to a fuel cell bc the stock tank causes to many problems with clearance of all the new stuff, he's about six months in to the conversion and the end isn't really in site yet but he is also doing a majority of the work on his own in his free time. his reason for not just buying a gsx is the body of his gs-t is heavily modified with some insane one off wide body kit he and a body guy dreamed up using a wide body nsx front and a wide body supra rear. he is also going to convert it over to just rear wheel before its all done. when everything’s said and done should be nice a 350+hp rear wheel drive eclipse putting the power where it’s suppose to go… the rear wheels

That car will be the hotness if he makes is AWD, also with all that time and money I hope to hell he isnt going to drift it.

i dont think he's planning on drifting the car he just got tired of tryin to go around a corner quickly and hitting boost and the front wheels breaking loose cuasing hella understeer and he likes to be different and has the coin to be different

 

Learning to "drift" a FF car IS impossible, because you can't truly drift an FF, first off. So, secondly, you'd kinda have to convert it to FR. I say, if you have the nuts and resources, go for it. It would definetely be a fresh change and if you go to a drift day your less likely to get beatin to death with sticks and bald tires.

Besides, going to every fast food place in the tri-county area and stealing trays before a drift day would just be a pain in the ass. lol

 

That GS-T screams FAG! thats too bad because it looks like a nice concept body kit.

 

if your concern is the paint, well , the pink paint was to be different (or so he claimed) and he's asian so he convinced himself he could pull it off...... it has a blue pear on it which makes it look ok in person, when all the swap work is done he'll be repainting it something hopefully better

just found this pic on a buddies webpage this is when the gs-t had all the body work and was just primer blue which i think looked pretty hot

 

that blue looks 1 million times better than that hidious Pink.
