question on welding my diff

Default question on welding my diff

i noticed in the other thread him asking about it but will it damage axles or bushing and will cfp take your diff out weld it and put it back in for 70 i have a 240 by the way

ummm...because stpete is ghetto?
It won't hurt anything if it's done correctly.

Just fu*kin do it. If it breaks, just get another one.
People will look at your weird at gas stations.

Advice: If the diff happens to break, replace it immediately. You dont want to get killed by your own car like JC did on New Years Eve.

Welded dif is awesome. Just do it and love it. Fuck, I dont care if its ghetto, I wouldn't have it any other way (unless i had 900 for a Kazz).

Ya, make sure you seal it back up properly.

you mean take the diff out of the pumpkin? no need for that. but no one around here would pull the pumpkin out, weld it, and reinstall it back in your car for $70.

The few ive done, id get the spider gears so hot that I would melt them slightly, and the ones i did still work perfect.

thanks for your responces so i only have to take the cover off and weld them my friend has a dc tig would that be sufitiont to weld it and do i weld all the way around or just stitch it
