question on welding my diff

whats a vlsd and is it that bad to weld the diff becus i have friends who have done it and swear by it like it wont hert bushings or anything and when i (try to) drift i wont be bad on the car

clutch type mechanical lsd is the best for drifting. Check out ATS, Kaaz, Cusco etc.
Vlsd is barely worth the $$$ and welded is well....
