We don't want a drift track. A parking lot will suffice.

Anthony, we are arguing to let others know what we want. Didn't you say somewhere in the thread that this series is open to suggestions? I know bobby can get6 any course layout he wants.

What all you aspiring drifters need to realize is nobody is going to build a drift track in Florida. PERIOD! If you want to drift on a road course, its going to cost you. ALOT! Unless you are willing to spend alot of money, you'll either be drifting on the street, or on an oval.
I'll take the street.

But seriously, PARKING LOT!!!

They make it sound like the people watching the short (bus) track truck racing have never seen drifting before. i`m sure they have been watching it since they were little, going to dirt track races. it`s not new and if 1/2 of them have the same view as the crotchity old fart that came to the "practice" event in charlotte, ("what is this shit? just a waste of tires!") it won`t do very well. two different groups of people and i don`t see them mixing very well. plus splitting the event from 8 am to 6pm? that sucks.

not here to bash your gig. good on ya. but i have to agree with whoever said this is like giving a round track to drag racers. he`d be better to rent the fsfg as often as possible if thats the best he has.

I know for a fact that this is not true.

"Anyone at XAT" would be me, and sorry, but I'm not going to give away venues that I've secured.
