Is it possible that these track owners dont want drifting because we literly force our cars to slide and loose control, thus increasing the chance of a crash or likely hood of hurting someone? Yet, in drag racing, speeds usually go beyond 100 mph, and its like $20 for a whole night run.

that is because we in the south, and there are bumpkins, bumpkins like mudding and dragracing. ok now put 2 and 2 together and theres your answer. but mudding is fun so.....yeah.
