Sorry for the delay, I've been fisiting family out of state...

I've had SEDA and Top Hat correspondence in my inbox for a while and rest assured that DG is all over it.

FL tracks have always been more oval-oriented but things are getting better for us. Part of the battle for me is just trying to convey to track owners just what drifting is, as a lot of them still have never heard of it. I will be doing some visiting of facilities in the early weeks of the new year and will pass anything that I can put together on to you guys!

Hug me at the next event - there isn't any reason to thank me until the tires start a burnin.

i hope i can remember to give you one at the next event.
Shit, not i should be the only one who should give mike a hug, every driver should.

I dont really understand why track owners dont understand what drifting is. If they are track owners, they car car enthuisest (sp?), if they are car enthusiest, they should have some sense of all automotive sports.

they probably don't give a crap as long as they get money and you don't screw up they're tracks...

need to talk to the people over at the tampabay downs, since they had a few of the benz test drives there, they might be open to it, the big lot accross from the downs itself, in which a killer cone track could be made.

yeah at that same place a while back Chrysler was having test runs and people were smoking the tires and shit so maybe they won't mind if you set up an event

TBD is scared of drifting, or at least they told me that they would "pass" this time around.

Just because people own racetracks doesn't necessarily mean that they are enthusiasts. Racing tracks are a business much like any other. Nick is pretty much right that if the track owners can make some dough and not have their facility messed up, they don't really care what we do there. However, a lot of track owners are still really warry of something that they know little about, or know a lot of misinformation about.

The hunt is on in beast mode for sho!
