Because you're moving the inner steering pivot outwards away from the FLCA pivot.

bumpsteer is an internet mechanic term, at least to the s13s it is

drive my car its lower than nuts, it has no bump steer

It's just what I hear. I haven't had a chance to take a tape measure to the underside of the car. I don't suppose that anyone here has a bumpsteer gauge?
