personally after driving on silkroads there is a reason i didn't reccomend them. hahaha.

oh, and the lack of support stateside. ask charles tommykaira skyline about what happens when 1 of his got destroyed. yep, no stateside service.

care to elaborate why the flta's are "above her skill level"?
to my knowledge the flta1 is pretty much entry level for jic, and has less adjustment range than the megan, which to me would make it easier to dial in.

You're right, I was thinking of the A2s, which are the baller hardcore ultra adjust JIC unit. A racing-class coilover can create too much grip for those who don't have the driving ability to control it.

I retract my previous statement, A1s would be a good coilover.

It does suck that Silkroad has zero stateside service, suck indeed, and I agree that it is a major drawback. I was just surprised they didn't even make your list, Matt.

im not big on tanabe suspension stuff just because im not sure on stateside support.
plus the ones youre asking about jc look like theyre made by kyb for tanabe. which means the quality is decent, but probably underdampened.
theyre basically the same as the older GAB coilovers made by kyb for GAB.

for the money youd spend on those you could get something better in my opinion. seems like inferior quality than brands like cusco, but with just as much hassle to get serviced.

my friend just bought some Megan street coilovers..decent ride quality i thought...very good handling ...yes matt u were right , the damping does leave some on the table..and btw: regina what r u doing with your old suspension my i ask? lmk

I have the HKS hipermax II on my car and I love it not too stiff and not too bouncy feels like stock to me.

if someone wants to buy my HE's for 1175 i will sell them


they are in excellent condition and have been super modified for uber low duty
