Here's one going for $400+ on ebay Trailer Dolly Looks pretty simple to make.

As low as most some of our cars our, I'd think you need whole car off the ground.

I.E. so the front bumper or oil pan isn't smashing the reflectors on the road

Buy rv trailers like this and strip it to its frame, then use 10" wood planks as a floorboard. Thats what we did with our trailer. It works.

Question: Is camping allow at the tracks?

There are always cheaper hotels, but you will be further away from the
venue. On your way in, stop about 30 minuites or so out and get a
room. Camping is not allowed, but I don't think too many ppl check.
But there are a lot of bums that wonder around, so be really careful if
you take that chance.

I say your best shot is to ask a neighbor who can lend you a flat bed trailer. Buy one dude, get it financed. I just got done customizing for one of my clients.
