Anybody planning on going, we need to start getting ready.
I plan on leaving Friday afternoon (maybe 1 or 2 pm) to head up there. My car will be on a trailer. I will split the cost of a room with others (but I want a bed!). Currently, looking for a cheap hotel ($107/night is a little high). I will not have space for passengers on this trip (Sorry). So who is in? What's everybodies thoughts? I will update the post as things get confirmed. Charles |
If things work out, ill go. As for hotel, forget it, im sleeping in my car. Im not spending $20 just so i can sleep on a bed for 7 hrs like i did at the HotImportNight event in Miami. Just fold down the rear seat and a bottle of vodka, im dead for 7hrs.
Oh, can we camp out in the parking lot...not the track :-P |
can you get a picture of the track layout and the track ?
|
what truck? we are down to 2 company trucks now, and they all have Bobcat welders on them, so i dont think we can use them. The dually was towed away because of the end of the lease.

oh i c, is it just going to be a big parking lot do whatever you want, or are they going to have cones set up, or concrete walls?
|
I'm pretty sure i'm game for this, though I need to figure out the whole trailer issue since I don't trust my car to make it to Georgia and back.

most likely cones. Concrete walls arent cheap to put up.
Just find a truck and rent a U-Haul dolly trailer. I know its not going to be cheap either. I suggest you make your own. They're not that hard to fabricate. A strong short steel frame with a tounge (spelling) If you're into the drifting scene and travel once awhile, I say youre better off making one. And rent it out to some friends when not in use. Or just look in Bargain Trader, they might have it. |
