Default DDAY6 Wrap-Up Thread...

First of all...thanks to everyone who came out, drivers and spectators alike. The turnout was great, I'm still waiting on exact spectator numbers but I know it was pretty insane. It was nice seeing a lot of new faces in the field of drivers and it was also nice to see a lot of people improving so much throughout the day. It was truely a very good event.

The Advanced/Intermediate group hotlap session was pure insanity. I know some of the drivers had mixed feelings about it, some cars were overheating, etc...but shoot me an email with any comments of concerns you might have about it and whether or not you think we should do it again next time.

A couple things that upset me...as I announced several times throughout the day, the RED BULL IS FOR DRIVERS ONLY. We went through 240 cans of Red Bull yesterday by 1:30 in the afternoon and only had about 40 or so registered drivers. I KNOW there's no way 40 Drivers can consume 240 cans of Red Bull in a short few hours...so to the spectators that drank a million cans of Red Bull, thanks for being selfish and not giving a shit about the drivers! - The same thing about MrAnlet's GFs sandwiches she brought FOR THE DRIVERS ONLY...greedy people decided to steal those too...GREAT JOB. All this means is from now on, the Red Bull tent will be in an area off limits to anyone but drivers and staff.

Anyways...back to positive stuff....

Overall it was a good event. No big hiccups, no crashes...no body died, etc.

As always, have to thank the people who support us and help these events happen...the guys at ACT are always super awesome and contribute alot to make these events as good as they are. RED BULL is the SHIT! They came out and set up a bitchin tent for us to hang out in and give us tons of product to keep you guys pumped throughout the day (even though greedy people decided they were going to drink all of it). OGP is a great track, the staff is outstanding and very good to us. We go out there and destroy their track all day long and they absolutely LOVE IT. Big thanks to Tampa Racing for letting me post all my shit .

and finally...ENJUKU RACING...these guys are about as awesome as it comes in this industry. Great staff, great products and and ALWAYs great service. These dudes are HUGE supporters of drift and the local scene...to make sure you show them some love.

anyways...I got home at 10PM last night and just woke up about an hour ago...I'm fucking BEAT!

great event... kyle... u remember when matt went off course during the tandem session... what if next time trung and i moved down further away from the big sweeper... like in the area you were in it was the transition from the big left sweeper to the right... thats kind of a spot where no one really spins out...

I don't mind having people take pics out on the track...but two things have to happen:

1. You're in a place that I say is OK to be in.
2. YOU HAVE TO ASK. I don't remember either of you asking to be at that turn, what if matt was going faster? He might have run right into you guys...

I didnt mean to yell at you guys, but you have to understand...I'm the one ultimately responsible for the safety and wellbeing of everyone on that property during our events.

Again...wasnt trying to be a dick when I yelled, just ask next time.
