drifting mr2's?
wow this thread went to shit.. if you wnat to drift and you want an MR2 than get an MR2 turbo. I personaly think that the post 2000 MR2 looks stupid... just my 2 cents...

the power matters in relation to the cars weight. I dunno how much the newer mr2s weigh tho. I always thought the old box body mr2s would look neat drifting. The MR is a difficult setup but the difference you will experience is less use of the steering wheel because the weight transfer will get the job done. side to side inertia will build up very fast with much steering input resulting in spins and snapbacks. you may be able to help the problem with some sort of front ballast. Anything to weigh down that front end a little will help balance the slides. good luck

see the thing is, how many new model mr2's do you see on a normal basis driving? and how many modded mr2's do you see? now how many mr2's do you see drift? for me, its all about being different. who wants to be a bandwagon 240sx'er? i dont. great cars they are, but i like to be different. show people something new and refreshing eh?
