Only 2 practice runs? there were a whole lot of entries, so alot of people got cut. By looking at the vids...there was alot of high speeds involved. Wish our guys could have had more high speed experience. Oh well.....on to ATL.

Yeah, we had a few technical difficulties yesterday.

But that's part of motorsports, and we got the car fixed, but not in enough time to get enough practice time in on a very difficult and dangerous course.

Dont' worry, we'll both be back in Atlanta with even more cool tricks up our sleeve

Ever snapped a t-bolt clamp in half ? We hadn't either until my car had to get out on the track.

We got everything set back up and by the time it was qualifying, i was on my second lap and everybody else was on their 6th and 7th I wasn't about to crash my 40 thousand dollar invested car on the first track of the season pushing harder than what's safe.

Hmm. my mobile internet was acting up on me and i posted that without finishing.

either way we're going 70mph down the interstate in our renegade as i'm posting this. plenty of pics on the way!

I had a BLAST. The entire team had an awesome time. We're very proud of rob, he did exactly what he needed to do, and we're just going to get better with more experience. Pics and video coming soon!

Yeah, it really does, but it just gives us more experience on what to bring.

control arms control arms control arms, subframes subframes subframes, silcon couplers and hose clamps.

i was amazed at how many people were put out of the game becaus theydestroyed their car. hell james bondurant put a freaking r33 skyline into th wall on like his first try or whatever..

the last thing in the world i would have figured tears apart is a t bolt clamp, but hey, thats motorsports. both powerplants ran absolutely perfectly all weekend, we had the best running and most power out there.

those guys running irwindale are definitely used to doing crazy banked shit however, we need to get seat time in places like that, so the search for a local facility is on.

it was nuts seeing the cars bottom out on the transition from the bank to the flat, scraping chassis, throwing spaks, cracking oil pans, and still going after the victory.. i wasn't about to destroy my car at round 1... that stuff made me just a litle nervous

Sounds like you guys had a great time. Sunshine has a decent bank, but I don't know if they rent out the track.... they stopped the saturday night races last year.
