stretchable grip tires
well ive always been a big fan of azenis, but for the wheel application i MIGHT be going with will call for a lot of stretch and azenis' sidewalls are too stiff to stretch, basically i want to roll a 205-50-15 on a 8-8.5" wide wheel. do the kuhmo MXs stretch that much? any others?

It should work fine. I run 195 on an 8" with no problem. Try es100. they are nice tires.

Yeah MX's dont have the same sidewall rock hardness that the azenis has.
but the MX runs large, possibly larger than an RT215.
for the record i've seen a 225/45/17 azenis on a 10" wheel so they will stretch and fit, you just need the cheetah.
MX's will moutn on tires sooo easily because the bead design is well made and the sidewall has just the right stiffness to it. picture it something like an ES100 sidewall.

I just stretched a 215/40/17 ES100 on a 9 and it went on ok. I love the grip in the dry much better than the Kumho 711. Today in the rain I had no understeer at all sliding around in the auction parking lot. I would say go for it.
Peace
Peace
