I'm the dick? I just came on to help reduce the ignorance of TR...I didn't ask to have my pics posted on here, I just found out they were here today.

I guess I'm just a bit pissed I had an unfortunate accident and could have been killed, and all people can do is joke on the fact that my car was a pos because it had an rb20?

You guys won't be missed a bit; All you "badazz driftaz" with your holier than thou 240's enjoy your ignorance.

Not trying to create more conflict, but just pointing something out...ka auto = lots of weight in the middle of the car where the tranny is as well as a engine that sits further back. RB = heavy engine that sits further forward with a dramtically lighter tranny. So the weight may not be much different, but you are definitely shifting it much further forward hurting the distribution. That said, I doubt this was the cause of the accident as i dont think understeer caused it.......................

Most painful part of that pic sequence is it getting pulled out. Sad to see

I would also like to point out that many of the people posting on this thread have first hand experience with RB 240s, although not so much with the rb20

why were you driving like a jackass with you mom in the car??? , why would you put her in danger like that where you would have to avoid oncomming traffic? , I hope she beat your ass till the tow truck got there , you should have learned to drift before you got all that monster power out the rb20 , do you got a dyno sheet on this car? , I like rb's so all the info you can tell me about what hg you used who built the bottom end ,cams and injector size and a/r and trim on the turbo instead of saying huge it would be great , how do you like virginia? every time I drive threw that state it pisses me off fucking cops are dicks , oh ps before you drive the car again do a brake upgrade its more important than your 400hp

Ok smart guy..here goes:

I wasn't driving like a dumbass, it was a narrow backroad, and the oncoming car was taking up more than his lane's worth as always and I was pulling off the side to avoid him last second as it was a blind corner, my mother wasn't upset at all with what happened since it was an accident.

The car, it is not built, it's a fucking rb..aka race built. All internals are stock, people can get 500whp from them stock internals.

The turbo is a t3/to4e 57 trim compressor with .63 stage 3 turbine with external tial 38mm gate. It doesn't get full 18 psi until 4500 rpms. I have a Fidanza 11lb flywheel, and XTD heavy duty clutch. The injectors are from a series 5 89 RX7 Turbo II and are 550cc's. I have a z32 maf with stainless mesh air filter since the RB20 maf only handles 300hp. I custom made the intake manifold myself out of a roadsign. The intercooler setup is a full Hybrid brand setup with piping modified to fit my setup, it's 2.5" pre intercooler and 2.75" after. For engine management I'm using an Intronics Romulator emulator that takes place of the eprom chip that is normally there. I'm using LiveEdit version 2.2 to program the ecu in realtime and I use a techedge wideband to do the tuning with. On top of that I have a 3" downpipe with a McCord power plate which is an electronic exhaust cutout which I can open up in a couple seconds to get maximum power whenever I want. I have a manual boost controller, and Apexi Multichecker to keep an eye on the vitals. That's just what's under the hood pretty much..if you'd like the rest of the mod list for the car then I can email it to you but I don't really feel like it.

Here's a pic of my engine bay:

Well, that shut everyone up!

I took the liberty of browsing through your pics. Your turbo spacer thingy is neat, but your downpipe looks like complete arse. Are you going to get a proper downpipe made when the car is rebuilt? The intake manifold looks questionable, but that's pretty cool making your own. I always thought that street signs would make good project material, being thick aluminum and all, but never need to build anything from mine. Is that a brake master cylinder brace? Don't see that much in the Nissan circle. Does it make a difference? Those look like top feed injectors, but I thought RX7s ran sidefeeds? You're the first person I've seen actually run a romulator on an ECU. I don't think anyone around here runs a multichecker either. So why not a larger RB? I think someone implied that they were heavier... is that true?

Now post that suspension setup so we can beat through that as well!

Yes, the downpipe sucks, but it was the only option thanks to the steering rack. I am getting a tubular stainless manifold soon that will make it a topmount turbo and will make a nicer downpipe for sure.

Roadsigns are nice and cheap, but they suck for welding I found out. The master cylinder brace was something I thought I'd try one day, didn't notice a difference, but figure it cannot hurt. I have axxis ultimate pads and hightemp fluid and I can't complain, I can lock the ebrake up with no trouble at 70mph on the highway.

Suspension is for the street (where I drive 99% of the time), Koni adjustable yellow's on ground controls with cusco camber plates. I had Tein's, but they were too stiff for the shitty pavement in my area. I also have a full energy suspension bushing kit, rear strut brace and Phantom Grip LSD.

Not all rx7's had sidefeeds, and depends if you are speaking primary or secondary injectors on them. Why not a larger RB? They add weight and triple the cost of the swap. ALso, unless you're looking for more than 400whp, it's not worth going with the other engines, as the 20 will do it just fine..

My buddy and I have just built the "SR Talk" consult type tools and will be able to go through our engines and check every sensor and function with the laptop and tune even better.

Thanks for not being a jerk and actually having something intelligent to say Epstein.
