On a more serious note:
In FFA, I made a comment about building a Drift Track, the catch? I would have to win the POWERBALL drawing tomorrow night, which we all know will not happen. Anyways, I wanted to set the record straight on something...
Everybody that's been a member of TR KNOWS about the issues involved around building a TRACK. Let's face it, it's not gonna happen.
But I didn't specify, what kind of track. A full bore 1320' track will not happen, but a DRIFT/AutoX track is a possibilty. There's alot of reasons why, so I will not go into detail here, but I don't want to give people the wrong impressions....
1/4 mile track= NO
Drift/SCCA Track= POSSIBLE!
Just thought I would clear that up.

Dragracing is a serious liability issue, SERIOUS, as it takes place as a COMPETITION.
Drifting and Auto-x'ing take place as Driver Improvement, and as such Liabilty is less.
Notice how Drifting Events take place in parking lots, but Dragraces don't?

if it were a huge concrete slab, then youd have to have elevation changes.

And you could convince the insurance people that drag racing is "driving improvement" too.
