Sebring is actually $3,000 for the Skid pad and require 3 Million Dollar Insurance Coverage (Roughly $1,500 If you get lucky). on top of that youll still incur costs for tires, gas, car maintenance (that you would anyways even if you took the driving class).
So... at the end of the day, IF you got like 15 dudes to go in on it with you it MIGHT be cheaper than $350 a person. and then what happens?
you end up aiwth a big place to slide aroudn in for a day as much as you want. but....without instruction from qualified and experienced drivers, so you endup not really learning much for your money. woo!
$350 is WELL worth a days instruction and 2 hours of 1 on 1 seat time with a qualified driver.
....just my 2 cents.
ps...
2 hours is ALOT of track time. you and your car are tired and ready to go home after 2 hours of track time.
think about it, at primus, i think each person got 12-16 runs (i think)
it took maybe 45 seconds to make your way through the course. so if you do some math
45 seconds per 'lap'
@ 16 laps (we'll just use 16 laps for now)
you got........drum roll.....12 MINUTES OF SEAT TIME.
and most people were very happy with the amount of track time they got....imagine 2 HOURS.
again, WELL worth the $350.
id totally take it if it was local

" But, don’t worry, if you have a front-wheel drive car you still qualify to drive our high performance course. We’ll take you out for a drift ride at the end of the day!"
