most consistent and hardcore:

-bill in anything
-rob in the bee
-jay in general lee
-matt in ken's s13/15
-bruce in sti
-eric in the dg colored s13

every car that i saw out there that i also saw participate at dday1 had improved greatly. orlando represented also. and the variety was great; as much as i hate to admit, i get tired of seeing 240s after a while.

when i figured that out i stopped sucking so bad

but back on topic, matt in the s13/15 and bill were the most amazing, but no ants in general did awesome. taylor did a buncha good runs, as did rob. evan and whoever was in the orange s13/silvia were good too, but i didnt see much of their runs because we were in the same group so i was either driving or couldnt turn around to watch. very good show all in all though.

from my standpoint, i think it's hard to compare the miata to the enjuku 240sx because the two are very differnet cars

the miata was never meant to have that much power, and honestly, it was never meant to drift well, or at least easily, because of it's tiny wheelbase. bill was able to capitalize with it, and use the power to put the car anywhere he wanted. the thing transitions from grip to slide incredibly, and turns in much quicker than an s13. what he wasn't able to do , however, was get the car to extend at very high speeds, because all it wanted to do was pitch over

the 240sx i was in, on the otherhand, was definitely the cadillac eldorado of s13's. I haven't ever been in an S13 so heavy in my entire life! The cool thing is that Bill and I both had been driving both cars for the exact same amount of time up until this Saturday! So we were very evenly matched in terms of experience and what not in the cars. It was a constant game of adaptation and modification to driving style in order to make the cars do what we required of them. The S13 was able to get an insane amount of speed up, and hold an extremely high angle. I think I was better in the high speed section, and Bill was better in the lower tighter section.

The Strawberry hatchback has a few problems with it that kept me from running it throughout the day. But it's better to be safe than sorry, and we will definitely be at the next event!

I think the best thing is the fact that bill and i are getting along great again. that's the most important thing to me.

In my opinion, and this isn't biased at all, I really think Matt in the Enjuku car looked better. The drifts were more smooth, higher speed, and more fluid. That's just my opinion. I think he looked the best out there today. There are other days when Bill might look the best, or Rob or Taylor... etc. I think Matt took the cake at DDayII though.

i also think matt had the best looking runs out there....it kinda got me going and made me more agressive when i went through my runs.....seeing that sil80 start sliding from like half way down the straight.....it was crazy!
