Default heres an idea

what if we pulled some money together and talked with some business that had a nice parking lot and paid them money for use of their parking lot and we can make some type of waver saying that they are not responisble for any our stupid actions and if one of us hits a wall or the building, that person will pay for it. so then we can hold a drift event.

In order for a waiver to be valid, I believe it would have to be ok'd from the higher ups of which ever company you choose their space...ie the Director of Opperations for Publix...which is located in Lakeland AND I think it might have to be notorized...but Im not sure. Its not as easy as asking the store manager if you can use their parking lot and he/she saying yes. Now, if you can find a company that isnt incorporated, then you will have a much better chance....THEN the first process would be as simple as going in and asking the owner, not some pencil pusher, if you could kick out some cheese to use their lot. Though most people think its impossible, its not as hard as people think to look around and simply ask somebody...now as far as the city/county/local law inforcement is concerned....I wouldnt have a clue. But Im sure theres going to be a problem depending on location/time/date as far as noise and traffic is concerned. But it wouldnt hurt to try.

they have big parking lots u can rent out, its just the matter of insurance which you HAVE to have when holding an auto event, people cant be liable for themselfs, they would just all sue whoever started it.

As an added bonus their parking lot would look like shit from all the black marks all over the place.

Sounds like a win/win proposition for the business, especially since the people drifting there have so much extra income to buy things from them.

CAPTAIN SARCASM has FINALLY shown his TRUE IDENTITY!!!

so much negativity... It couldn't hurt to try.

Maybe get the police to supervise. As bad as that sounds, They wouldn't have to worry about illegal street drifting so they may be up for the idea. And it would bring piece of mind to the owner of the parking lot and would be much more likely to go along with the idea.

I saw a video of what I think was this same idea. It was a huge parking lot and people where drifting it up with a cop was sitting there watching.

I for one would like not having to worry about being busted for drifting everytime I go out.
