yeah good luck with that.

drifter mentality:

do what is cheapest, easiest, and most effective.

right now only thing that falls into that category is S13. Corolla GT-S a distant second because its hard to find and expensive replacement parts in the rear end. 3rd is FC chasis because rotary does not equal reliable drift motor.

we got screwed over here...worse on east coast. until you know how to drift i find it more pointless to give yourself a harder road to travel...but to each his own.

lastly if u dont have the power or LSD, just wait until rainy season again. when u do start to learn, please, do it in a large parking lot where u dont have to worry about hitting too much stuffs. also, if the parking lot is shiny, it means its weather coated. that = easy drifts. GO SLOW!@!@!

rinse repeat

1.8 Corolla is basically a older AE86 , not quite but it is hte same chassis attributes .

Short wheelbase
Solid Axle Rear
Decent front suspension design

This car alot of people actually slide around for fun in aussie , They do 4AG or 18RG motor swaps and do ITB or Carbs plus other mods .

Get a Decent LSD of some sort , I belive some of the 1.8s come with diffs , if you do your lucky . I belive yours is a 2Door right ? Blue ? On its nuts ?

Maybe try adn get some pratice in , thats the best way to start , dont do it in populated areas / be a retard .

More practice teh better you get . Your going to need a better chassis to get really into sliding here in the US , So just remember that . a S13 or GTS is in your future , YOu should have never sold the AE85 to Edwin lol

i don't know about wheels.....but if you want to drift....wait untill they start the practice sessions and what not.....then you can go out there and learn with out putting yourself or anyone else in danger.
