If I did'nt have a wwd car I would love to learn the beautiful art of drifting...maybe when I have some extra money...I have my sites on a ae86 with a spun bearing that I can get dirt cheap but right now I am in the middle of boosting my car so...It will have to wait

 

ae86 is a good cahssis if you plan on redoing it . remeber htese things are getting up on 20yrs old now and alot of them arent in tip top shape

plan on replacing every bushing in a 10mile radius , new brakes , prolly a lsd , if your model even has 1 , plus aftermarket suspension , and tune up parts .

your going ot be investing a good chunk of change when you can get a s13 really chepa and just do a diff , suspension , mods to a s13 for alot cheaper .

i love the ae86 chassis though so do it if you can

 

the only issue here is that its a coupe which is actually lighter...is there a reason the are less popular?

 

a lot of people like the look and cargo capability of the hatchback. personally, I like the coupes better.

Where is this ae86 with a spun bearing? If you arn't buying it, mind if I do? - pm me.

I have a 86 corolla GTS, but wouldn't mind getting another one so I can continue driving mine and do a full restore/engine swap/ make it a super drift machine, on another.

i allmost took it she needs a radiator i was told.cost about $118 and i found rod bearing set for $18 real easy fix

yes with the VIN 86 it is an 86 chasis, but it has SOHC motor and crappy rear end.
